Facebook Adds Subscribe to Live Mentions
Do you follow a celebrity or public figure on Facebook?
If they are using the Facebook Mentions app, you can now subscribe to their live streams.
Facebook Messenger Magic
Another update from Facebook is a feature called Facebook Messenger photo magic.
It is currently in testing, but the way that it works is it scans your photos you've taken using facial recognition.
You then get notified and prompted to send pics to friends that it identifies.
Tools
In addition to sharing the latest in social media news from this past week, we also highlighted some great tools and apps to check out.
Google Keep
Google Keep is a free note-taking app that works with the Google suite of products.
We would compare it to using Evernote.

LinkedIn Lookup
The LinkedIn Lookup app can help you find and contact anyone at your company - even if you're not connected to them.

Notify by Facebook
Notify by Facebook is an app that notifies you when your favorite news, sports or celebrity channels post new content.
Right now, they mainly support major news sites, but we expect them to add more as the service grows.
