Tweetdraw is a free tool to draw a random RT (retweet) for a Twitter contest or sweepstake.
How to use Tweetdraw:
To draw a random RT:
Input the tweet ID (the long number) or the whole URL of the tweet and the draw will be made automatically.
Your winner will be displayed, along with the draw ID for reference and proof – simply click the link saying “Tweet this” to share on Twitter directly the username of your winner and how the winner was drawn.
You will only be able to draw from tweets from an account you own. You can check the draws of other accounts.
Tweets will need to be 60 days or less, and up to 3000 retweets can be drawn from.
How to check a draw:
Simply input the tweet ID or URL and find the draw details that have been made against it by the promoter.

Why are there fewer entries in the draw than retweets for the tweet?
The draw will not be able to count entries made by suspended accounts, or accounts who are set to “private”. It is normal to expect the entrant count to be lower than the total number of retweets, please bear this in mind.

Yes, it has. Tweetdraw was originally known as Twitterdraw, and since then has undergone a number of changes. Some years ago the original technology behind Tweetdraw was replaced by the technology that powered the well-known Twrench service. The makers of Twrench retired the service and launched a new tool called Pickaw. Because Tweetdraw was largely dependent on the Twrench draw engine, we have now switched over to a widget that uses the Pickaw engine, but allows our users to draw easily in a matter of seconds, without an involved signup process. It remains free.
