1. Download the Facebook app

The first thing you need to do is download either the Facebook mobile app or the Facebook Pages Manager app.

You will use one of these to broadcast your Facebook Live Video.

2. Launch the Facebook mobile app

3. Open your Facebook Page

 

4. Tap on publish

 

5. Select “live video”

6. Enter a description about your Facebook Live Video

In your Facebook Live Video description, you can include hashtags and also tag other pages and profiles using the @ sign.

Remember, your Facebook Page is public so anyone can view your Facebook Live Videos.

 

7. Tap on the “go live” button

Once you’ve added a description, it’s time to “go live” with your broadcast.

If you get a warning that you have a weak signal, be sure you’re in an area with good reception, otherwise your live videos can be choppy and buffer a lot, which can create a poor user experience for viewers.

At this point, you will get a 3 second countdown timer and your Facebook Live Video will be broadcast out to your Facebook Page.

You can broadcast for up to 90 minutes; however, we recommend experimenting with different lengths for your Facebook Live Videos for Pages.

This way you can identify the best length of time to broadcast for.

8. Saving Your Live Videos

When you’re finished with your Facebook Live Video for your page, tap on “finished.”

This will let you save your Facebook Live Video to your devices camera roll. You can also choose to upload a better quality version of your Facebook Page’s live video.

At this point, your Facebook Live Video will be published to your Facebook Page and a recording will be added to the videos section on your page.

This way your customers and fans can reference them later on.
