In Facebook news, they are rolling out Facebook Showcase Video Ads.

Facebook Showcase Video Ads are a way for "online video and TV ad buyers to participate in the upfront selling cycle" to help them reach their target audience.

In a nutshell, showcase video ads help deep-pocket advertisers share their content with Facebook users.

Right now, campaigns that target US audiences and include the following products can use Facebook showcase video ads - in-stream reserve, in-stream reserve campaigns, and sponsorships.

Why Facebook Showcase Video Ads Matter For Your Business

If your business is trying to reach an audience that is difficult to reach through TV, you can use Facebook Showcase Video Ads to help you get in front of the right demographic.

If you create premium Facebook content, but you're not getting the results your business wants (and you have the budget), instead of running conventional Facebook Ads, you can run Facebook Showcase Ads instead.

Facebook Workplace Crosses 2 Million Paid Users

Facebook Workplace has surpassed 2 million paid users.

With more and more Enterprises companies clamping down on using Facebook at work, Facebook Workplace provides a good alternative.

Why Facebook Workplace Matters For Your Business

Facebook can be a great tool to market your business. It can also result in a loss of time for your employees.

Facebook introduced Workplace, a way to access Facebook at work (without all of the distractions of regular Facebook).

Not only does it help boost productivity, but companies are starting to see a lot of value in the data that comes through Facebook Workplace - you can encourage online collaboration within your company.

While 2 million users isn't a lot, compared to the number of overall Facebook users, it's a great start for Facebook Workplace, as it continues to gain traction.

Instagram Business Profile Pages

In Instagram news, they are testing Instagram business profile pages for some users.

Instagram business profile pages

Why Instagram Business Profile Pages Matter For Your Business

Instagram is rolling out new ways for your business to build a presence on their platform with Instagram business profile pages.

They look very similar to Google local pages.

You can add your business's address, hours, contact information, website URL, phone number and more.

Right now, they are currently testing this feature, but as always, you'll want to complete your Instagram business profile in its entirety. If your information isn't correct, you can edit your Instagram profile page (if you can find it).

You can try to find other Instagram business profile pages by searching for a location and then tap on "view information."

We couldn't find it when we searched for them, but you might have access to them.

In the meantime, you can check out more screenshots and learn more about Instagram business profile pages here.

A Twitter Reply Moderation Tool

In Twitter news, they are testing a Twitter reply moderation tool to hide tweets.

Here's a look at the Twitter reply moderation tool.

Thew reply moderation tool will let you hide replies under your tweets.

Why A Twitter Reply Moderation Tool Matters For Your Business

The ability to hide Twitter replies could be useful if you are running an event or have to deal with trolls on your Twitter account.

At the same time, if you just want to hide Twitter replies, this feature could quickly be abused.

The good news is that Twitter seems to be increasing transparency for users - you'll be able to see Twitter replies that have been hidden by a user.

While this puts the responsibility on users to moderate their content, hopefully, Twitter will provide some use of artificial intelligence to better help you filter your tweets without the need to manually edit your Twitter account.

This feature is currently in testing. You can learn more about the Twitter reply moderation tool here.
